In 2001 2003, Chongqing Municipal Government approved the establishment of Chongqing Changshou Chemical Industry Park Chongqing Yanjia Industrial Park respectively, in 2010, the State Council approved the upgrading of Chongqing Changshou Chemical Industry Park into an economic technological development zone. 2011, the municipal government decided to integrate Chongqing Yanjia Industrial Park into Changshou Economic Technological Development Zone, with a planning area of 73.6 sq. kilometers, the main development of The five major industries are iron steel metallurgy, new materials new energy, equipment manufacturing, natural gas chemical industry petrochemical industry.

2. Leading Industries

Yunnan Yuntianhua Company, the country's larger paraformaldehyde base, has invested in the construction of a 60,000 tons/year paraformaldehyde project.

The park is building a heavy oil chemical integration project, including ethylene, propylene, isobutylene, butadiene, benzene, acetone, bisphenol A other products, which can provide key raw materials for engineering plastics.
